Here are some case studies outlining installation and maintenance contracts that ACi Ltd have recently undertaken.

The Customer:

Very Large US Banking Concern in the City of London

Scope of work:
On going annual maintenance contract for the support of approximately 70 networked Air Sampling Detector Panels. Contract provides for twice yearly preventative maintenance visits.

Special factors:
All maintenance has to be completed outside of usual office hours.

The Customer:

Criminal Investigation & Anti Terrorist Organisation in Central London

Scope of work:
Installation of approximately 6 Kilometres of ABS Firepipe and approximately 50 Air Sampling Detector Panels.

Special factors:
Due to the high security status of this organisation all engineers attending site had to have security clearance to the very highest levels. Additionally all work had to be completed outside of normal office hours.

The Customer:

Large Shopping Centre in East Anglia

Scope of work:
Site survey, analysis and rectification of substandard and potentially non compliant installation by a third party.

Special factors:
The client required a near immediate response and continual onsite working once engineers arrived on site. The project required working very closely with the panel manufacturer to ensure maximum overall system performance.

The Customer:

Food Storage Facility in Peckham, South London

Scope of work:
Supply and installation of a single Air Sampling Panel and approx. 200m of ABS Firepipe.

Special factors:
The sampling capillary was to be located in a refridgerated room at minus 20 degrees. Air had to be heated to remove moisture prior to arriving at the detector.

The Customer:

Specialist Glass Manufacturer in Wirral, Merseyside

Scope of work:
Design, supply and installation of over 100 light curtain safety systems.

Special factors:
Due to the specialist nature of this clients business the solution had to be a new and completely bespoke design.

The Customer

Large UK based Airline at Heathrow Airport

Scope of work:
Designed (with the assistance of a major panel manufacturer) a complicated Air Sampling System, installed approx. 3Km of ABS Firepipe and approx. 50 Air Sampling Detector Panels.

Special factors:
All installation work had to take place out side of normal office hours and our installation engineers had to work around live computer equipment, in roof voids and other very confined spaces.

The Customer:

UK Logistics & Distribution Company in Swindon, Wltshire

Scope of work:
Supply and installation of approx. 7Km of ABS Firepipe and approx. 50 Air Sampling Detection Panels.

Special factors:
This was a major refurbishment of an operating distribution centre. Work was organised in three phases and required working to extremely tight timeframes demanded by the distribution centres customer - a major high Street retailer.
